This is hands down the best chocolate Cora and I have ever tasted. Michael and Jennifer create bean to bar chocolate using a variety of cacao native to Peru in the Upper Amazonian region. They source directly from the Rio Mayo Valley and they established a non-profit based on regenerative trade practices that pay farmers much higher than the market value of their crop. Being a small-scale operation allows them to source the highest quality cacao and ensure more profit for the farmers.
When you buy a bar of this chocolate, you not only have an incredible bar of hand-poured chocolate, you also support a system that puts the cacao farmers first. The chocolate on our bus will vary week to week and their chocolate is dairy-free and vegan. It has been flying off the shelves since our regulars first got a taste of this chocolate.
Here are just a few bars we might have on board:
72% Dark: Plain, Sea Salt, Cacao Nibs, Raspberries, Cherries, Blueberries, and Coconut
50% Milk Chocolate (Dairy-Free)
40% White Chocolate (Dairy Free): Mango, Raspberries, Cherries, Blueberries
We are very excited to have them on board!
